On 28 May 2014, KLP organized a roundtable for “The Importance of Women Engagement in Legal Profession”, in ILIRIA College, Prishtina, Kosovo.
The occasion has been organized as a part of 15th Anniversary of USAID in Kosovo, by reflecting on the support offered by USAID for legal education. Professors of ILIRIA College and UPLF and students had an opportunity to listen about personal perspective and need for engagement of the women in legal profession, from an experts’ panel. Harold Dr. Dampier Jr. Chief of NCSC/PJK side, moderated in this occasion. In the panel was Director of USAID Mission, Maureen A. Shauket, President of ILIRIA College Mixhait Reçi, pro-dean of UPLF for Academic Affairs Remzije Istrefi and the lawyer Lule Bilalli-Ymeri from the Kosovo Chamber of Advocates.
